A webinar organized by the Department of Project Management and Commercialization was held on September 14

Today, a webinar on "Writing and editing scientific articles: guidelines for doctoral students, researchers and supervisors" was held! 
Speaker of the webinar - Armen Gasparyan (Ph.D., Associate Professor, Research Fellow of the Training Foundation of the University of Birmingham, UK, Honorary Professor of the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy).
The webinar was attended by 50 people from different organizations in our country. Among them were representatives of South Kazakhstan Medical Academy, City Clinical Hospital No. 1, Astana Medical University, Kazakhstan Medical University "Higher School of Public Health", Semey Medical University, Kazakh National Medical University named after Asfendiyarov and Karaganda University named after Academician Buketov.
The webinar program consisted of the following topics:
1. Principles of comprehensive and systematic literature search in Medline/PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science and DOAJ; 
2. Conducting and reporting online surveys;  
3. Using social media metrics for scientific research;
4. Basic principles of peer reviewing scientific articles;
5. Identifying and preventing plagiarism;
6. Analyzing examples of ethical and properly formatted scientific articles.
After the webinar, each participant received a recording of the webinar and a certificate of participation.
